So today we did a light day, well I did that is. I went for two walks, and I kept a calorie watch on both. The first walk, which was to the bank and back home, totaled 90 calories burned, the second walk which Christina joined me for was much longer and we burned 220 calories, for a sum of 300 calories in walking exercise. Christina and I also did 3 sets of two different light weight work for the arms, each set was 10 reps. Christina and I also both did a stomach exercise.In addition Christina gets the star today because she in addition to our long walk together also went to the gym and did 30 minutes on the elliptical. Our goal is still to lose between 15 and 20 lbs for the summer and I think, if we can keep this up, we might just do it. Wish us luck!
Ps. at the rate we are walking too bad we can't get frequent flyer miles...
Girlish figures, indeed.Van and I walked last night, and logged 2+ miles, about 40 minutes. The favorite son, Pupdog, was panting and pulling on Van, so he got even more calories burned.
ReplyDeletetoday, I am taking the small laptop in for repairs . the keyboard cursor just jumps around and starts sticking letters in anywhere.
So carrying a computer, 50 calories?
We will walk around again today, maybe go to the ACC to exercise in the late afternoon.
