So as I said earlier I was going to go for an athletic walk this evening, and I did. From 6:30 to 7:30 I walked through the lovely neighborhood of Roland Park. I had my pedometer on and according to it I made 6093 steps, but I accidentally turned it off for a bit of the walk so I would reasonably guess it was much closer to 7000, but wanting to be more accurate I went for a little cruise in the car and mapped the distance. I ended up walking a total of 4.5 miles, not too shabby a start in working towards my goal.Again good luck to us all!!!

ReplyDeleteVan and I got home from Atlanta around 11:30, and I had lunch and then took off to the office for class, 1-4:15. Then appointments.
ReplyDeleteso longstory short, we had dinner, and then walked around the neighborhood a bit...nothing too strenuous. So we give ourselves a C- for the exercise, but an A for our diet...fresh vegetables sauteed over whole wheat pasta (not too much) and a salad!
Our goal is to get up in the morning and go to the ACC and workout before work....we will have to see how sleepy-headed we are in the morning. It really is nice, though, to get the exercise done first thing. so the clock is set for 6:15....
